A Healthy Diet For A Luxury Lifestyle

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

Eating healthy is a goal you can conquer bit by bit or make a drastic life style change. Some people prefer augmenting one meal per week, a piece at a time, so that good habits do not seem like sudden punishment. For breakfast, instead of a doughnut or muffin or other baked good, try substituting an egg white omelet with vegetables. Most people do not realize that fresh vegetables, although they may be a healthy lifestyle choice, are also a luxury to eat and are quite enjoyable. Adding fresh vegetables to your diet is only one dietary suggestion.

How about taking a look at your lunch diet. If you eat sandwiches on a regular basis, how about trying a wrap instead. With less bread there are less calories consumed. Finally, for dinner instead of a starchy side such as a baked potato, eat green vegetables. It is a luxury to eat whole foods, and in an era of fast easy choices like the drive thru and microwave people often neglect to enjoy lifes simple pleasures. Another way to transition into a healthy life style is by making sure that you drink the recommended amount of water each day. Not only does drinking enough water help you digest your food, but staying hydrated is essential if you exercise and it naturally helps flush out your pores and any wastes you might have on your skin, or consumed and are surfacing to the level of your skin. Finally getting 8 hours of sleep at night is also a healthy life style that many people think they cannot afford. However much your day to day, or nightly activities are lost, it is always worth the luxury of getting a full night sleep.

Dynasplint systems dynamic splints use low-load prolonged duration stretch technology to help patients recover more quickly and attain a wider end range of motion. Flexion, dorsiflexion, extension, hyperextension, supination, and pronation treatment devices that reduce recovery times by continuously stretching joints at low intensity.

Dynasplint systems are bilateral spring loaded tensioning devices that help to increase joint range of motion (ROM) for patients experiencing ROM deficits due to shortened connective tissue while decreasing range of motion rehabilitation time and cost.

Dynasplint systems apply a low-load prolonged stretch (LLPS) to the connective tissue by seeking the patient’s end ROM. The low intensity stretch is comfortable and safe allowing the patient to wear the splint for an extended period of time.
